Back to try my hand at blogging...

It's been months since my last blog so now I have to learn this process all over again.

The little red churn dash blocks that I was working on in my last post turned into a cute little wall hanging that I called Little Red One.  I decided to make a whole series of little red quilts and so far I've finished Little Red Two and Little Red Three.

More little red quilts are in my head so look for more designs in the next few months.

I loved these one inch leather buttons and decided to design a little quilt using them.  I came up with Miss Rose's Garden:

I named this after my newest little granddaughter.  Her name is Isla Rose but my daughter always calls her "Miss Rose".

These patterns and kits (and a few others) were added to our website today so be sure and check it out at http://www.redbuttonquiltco.com/

We're busy packing for our last show of the year this Saturday in the small neighboring town of Clearbrook, MN.  Its a small but very nice quilt show held in an old theatre.  The building has so much character and the girls of the guild do a teriffic job of decorating and showcasing the quilts.  I look forward to this show every year.

I've also been getting registrations sent in for the 2012 shows.  We plan to go back to many of the same shows that we vended at this past year (Cincinnati, Loveland, Fargo, Des Moines, and Houston).  We're also planning on some new shows so check our calendar and events page on our website.

I need to get back to packing.  I'll try to get back here in a few days with pictures of the Clearbrook show.

  2. I just returned home from the Quilt Show in Minot, ND. I bought a kit and a pattern from your booth. I will say your booth was my favorite. I am happy that you have a website and that I will be able to look for more kits from you in the future. Please continue your blogging. Would love to hear more. Thanks!
